Ski Trip 2026 - Day Six

Race Day!

Yesterday evening we attended the ice hockey match in Zell am See. It was a great experience for everyone to watch a professional match live! 

Today was our slalom race day, with both students and staff competing for the title of fastest skier. The fastest student was Austin R and the fastest staff member was Mr Playford! Everyone did fantastically to navigate the course. 

This afternoon some students explored far reaching parts of the resort and got to visit some of the trickier slopes. 

We’ll be welcoming the instructors to our hotel later this evening for our awards ceremony, where each ski group will award prizes for: best skier and most improved, as well as fastest slalom run. 

Afterwards, we have a fun filled evening of a disco and some karaoke. 

Tomorrow is our last day before heading home. We are aiming to leave the hotel at approximately 10:30pm. Once we reach Guildford, on Saturday evening, we’ll contact parents/carers to inform them of our ETA.
