Act of Remembrance Monday 11 November 11am
We will be carrying out our usual Act of Remembrance on Monday 11 November at 11am. A bell will be rung followed by two minutes of silence. Crofton students always do an excellent job of this. I know how much this means to so many of you, especially those with connections to the armed forces.
Students are welcome to attend in uniform on Monday 11 November (Cadets, Scouts, Guides etc). Those who wish to parade ahead of the 2 minute national silence just need to let Ty C (10CBD) know ahead of the day and report to him by M1 at the start of break on 11 November. Students are welcome to gather in the Quad for the uniformed students parade and bugler at break ahead of 11am.
Poppies will be on sale this week. I hope as many of our students as possible will be able to buy one and wear it with pride. I will also be leading assemblies next week on the theme of Remembrance.
