Mock Interview Day 2026

We would like to say a huge well done to all of the Year 10 students who took part in Mock Interview Day on Tuesday 21 January 2026.

They should be incredibly proud of themselves. Despite the nerves and anticipation that naturally come with interviews, they stepped up, conducted themselves professionally and represented themselves and Crofton School fantastically well. Our students showed confidence, maturity and resilience, even when faced with challenging questions.

We are delighted to share that the feedback from our interviewers was fantastic. Employers, parents and post-16 providers commented on their positive attitudes, their preparation, their willingness to engage and the effort they had clearly put into the process. Several interviewers remarked on how impressed they were by their communication skills and how much they gained from the experience.

Mock Interview Day is designed to help students build confidence, develop key employability skills and better understand what employers are looking for and they truly made the most of the opportunity. The experience and feedback they gained will be invaluable as they move towards future interviews, applications and next steps after Year 11.

Once again, congratulations on an excellent effort. We are extremely proud of all of our students and hope you recognise what a big achievement this was.

Their willingness to give up their time, share their expertise and offer constructive feedback is invaluable. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the volunteer interviewers.
