GCSE RE Salisbury Cathedral Trip

Good afternoon,

We are delighted to announce that we have secured the opportunity to take a group of students to Salisbury Cathedral on Tuesday 3rd November 2026 to experience the spectacular Sarum Lights event.

Due to the short notice of this opportunity, we are working to a tight turnaround and would appreciate your support in securing places promptly.

Trip details

• Date: Tuesday 3rd November 2026

• Venue: Salisbury Cathedral

• Departure: 5:00pm from Crofton School

• Return: Approximately 9:00pm

• Cost: £12 (this includes coach travel and entry to the event)

Unfortunately, we are only able to take 14 students on this trip due to the transport. To ensure the process is fair, all students who have paid via ScoPay by Friday 23rd October 9:00am will be entered into a random draw. Names will be selected on Friday morning, and successful students will be informed shortly afterwards.

If your child would particularly like to attend with a friend, please ask them to let their RE teacher know before Friday morning. We will ensure that friendship requests are considered when entering names into the draw.

Should your child not be allocated a place, all payments will be refunded in full.

We are very excited to offer this unique opportunity and hope your child will be able to take part.
