Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award 2025

A group of Year 10 students have recently begun their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, starting with the expedition section of the award. The students spent the weekend hiking with all the kit they would need to camp out for the weekend. In the evenings, there were sweet treats of birthday cake one night and fire side smores the next which were greatly received by some very tired students!

All students passed, showing exceptional resilience and teamwork with many teams completing their routes in record time.

Thanks go to Mr West, Mrs Farrand & Mrs Oppe for giving up their weekend to help support this and the Year Team for coming to visit over the weekend, without their support this could not have gone ahead.
