Year 7 - Home Learning and Arbor

Dear Year 7 Parents and Carers,

I hope you are having a good week.

I am writing to share some positive news regarding the technical issues that we have been made aware of with Year 7 students logging in to Arbor for the first time. Frustratingly, our new Year 7 students' email addresses were incorrectly transferred onto Arbor from our data management system. This has now been resolved so students should be able to login to the Arbor app and website portal by following the instructions sent out over the summer. You will need the Outlook app to be able to login to your child's school emails and set a password.

If you encounter any difficulties, please be reassured that students next Computing lesson will also be used to support students in logging in to Arbor and accessing their school email accounts.

We believe that the parent app and portal is functioning normally, please do let us know if this is not the case. If you haven't logged on yet, we would encourage you to do so, so that we can work together better to maximise your child's experience.

We completely understand that these unexpected glitches caused some frustration and concern. We want to reassure you that there will be complete leniency around home learning deadlines and expectations over the next two weeks for Year 7 students. Our priority right now is ensuring everyone feels settled and supported.
