We are excited to announce that we have begun the process to recruit Crofton school's next Senior Students. These roles are open to all Year 10 students and students can apply by submitting an electronic or paper application. All details can be found on Teams.

Why should I apply?

The Senior Students play a very important role in representing the wider student body. They drive improvement to the school and are important ambassadors around school and at events.

Becoming a Senior Student is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills that will benefit them both in school and beyond. Senior Students are vitally important in representing the student body, supporting staff, and helping to create a positive and inclusive school environment.

Taking on this role allows students to build valuable experience for future applications, whether for college, apprenticeships, or part-time jobs, while also giving them the chance to make a real difference in the day-to-day life of the school. It is a rewarding way to contribute to the community, be a role model for younger students, and have your voice heard.

What is the application process?

Once applications are submitted, students will be shortlisted and will be interviewed by Senior Leaders during school time in the week beginning 4 May.

The deadline for applications is Monday 27th April.

The new senior students will then be selected and be in-post by May half-term.

Where can I get information?

Students were spoken to in assembly this week and have been set an assignment in the 2025 Year 10 group on Teams. If you have any questions about the roles, please contact Mr Clements.
