Work Experience Update for Year 10 Students

Week Commencing Monday 24th to Friday 28th May 2027

All students have now been given an Own Placement form to take home, along with a printed copy of a database of placement providers to help them begin their search.

✅ Deadline for returning the fully completed Own Placement form: 8 January 2027

Students are expected to arrange their own work experience placement. While our database provides a great starting point, experience shows that the most successful way to secure a placement is often through family contacts, friends, neighbours, or by approaching organisations directly.

We encourage students to start their search as soon as possible to give themselves the best chance of finding a placement that matches their interests and career aspirations.
