Science Technician (Part time)

We are recruiting for a Science Technician to work in our busy science department, providing technical support to class teachers with practical experiments. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, organising and maintaining materials and equipment within a diverse curriculum, whilst keeping themselves up to date with all aspects of Health and Safety. Previous experience as a Science Technician, or similar, is essential.
The Science team are based in a dedicated Science building with well-resourced classrooms for the new AQA curriculum. We have a high attaining, engaged student body with students who enjoy Science. The successful candidate will be able to inspire our students with 21st century learning opportunities and have a track record of delivering good lessons with the ability to secure progress for every student. We are looking to broaden our offering of extra-curricular opportunities, candidates with an interest in STEM and cross-curricular links should apply.
