At 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, the whole school observed the 2 minutes silence for the national Act of Remembrance to honour the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from the UK and the Commonwealth who defended democratic freedoms and ways of life.
We are always so proud of our students and the respect they show during this moment of reflection.
We would like to thank all our students who marched in the parade from the following local uniformed organisations: St John's Ambulance, 1st Lee-on-the-Solent Scouts, 2nd Fareham Sea Scouts,1st Stubbington Scouts, Gosport Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps, Gosport Royal Marines Band and HMS Collingwood Royal Navy Cadets.
Also thank you to our Bugler, James P (Year 11) for playing The Last Post to signal the start of the two-minute silence.
