Dear Parent / Guardian,

I hope you are well. We are proud to share that our Music Department has been awarded the ‘Music Mark Award for Dedication and Improvement’. This award reflects our commitment to providing a high-quality, broad, and inclusive music education. Hampshire Music Service have recognised Crofton School as a place that values music, actively fosters musical opportunities, and ensures that all students have access to creative and engaging learning experiences.

Our Spring Concert takes place next Tuesday 24 March in the school hall at 6pm. Soloists and small groups of musicians will be performing pieces that they are learning in their instrumental lessons; tickets will not be sold but we will gladly receive donations on the door (to go towards our Activity Day and the Music Department). If you would like your child to perform, please ask them to see me for an application form, or contact me directly at joliver@croftonschool.co.uk

If your child is in a school orchestra, please remind them that rehearsals for our Summer Concerts (on 30 June and 1 July) begin on the first week back after the Easter break; Senior Orchestra will rehearse every Monday and Junior Orchestra will rehearse every Tuesday (after school until 4:15).

Some of our Visiting Music Teachers have spaces for new students; if you would like your child to have music lessons taught on site at Crofton School, please find correspondence details listed below.
