Dear Parents and Carers

I am writing to inform you that I will be leaving Crofton School at the end of this academic year. It has been a great honour to serve our school community as Headteacher since January 2017, and I know this will feel like a big change. We have such excellent staff at Crofton and are part of a successful and supportive Multi Academy Trust, which I hope will reassure you that the future of the school is in safe hands.

HISP MAT and Crofton Governors will be working closely with the staff to plan the recruitment process for a new Headteacher, who will be in post from September 2026. We expect this to be advertised shortly after the half term break, and you will of course be informed when a decision has been made.

I look forward to working with my successor when appointed to ensure a smooth transition. They will be very fortunate to work with such a supportive parent body, exceptional students and staff that are committed to getting the very best from all students.
