European Day of Languages

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are going to celebrate European Day of Languages on Monday 28 September by inviting students to take part in a multi-cultural Bake-Off. This competition is open to students in Years 7-9.

If your child would like to take part, they will need to bake a cake, biscuits etc. with a European or multi-cultural theme or recipe. Students will need to bring their entry to the Tech block between 08:15 and 08:30 on Monday 28 September. Please make sure these are labelled with the name and tutor group of the student. All entries will receive a recognition point, and the winner will get a prize and a certificate.

Please make sure that the bakes do not contain nuts.

We are inviting students and staff to join us in T2 for the judging to see and sample the bakes that have been made, as there are normally lots of wonderful entries. As the number of people coming to judge can be quite large, students who enter the competition will be given a guaranteed entry number for themselves and a friend.

This information will also be shared on Arbor for students to see.
