Crofton DandeLIONs Welcome

Good afternoon

I hope your child has had a wonderful first few days here at Crofton.

I am emailing to introduce myself as Crofton School’s Service Lead. Myself, Mrs Coston and Mr De-Saint host the Crofton DandeLIONs Club with the aim to support the emotional well-being of our Service Students.

Crofton DandeLIONs meet after school on Thursday’s Week B in M6 (Maths Block). Throughout the year we organise events such as slime making, pumpkin carving, games afternoons, picnics, and parties. These events offer our students the opportunity to meet and talk with other students from military backgrounds. All upcoming events will be posted on our webpage on the Crofton School website so please do check to see if your child would be interested in attending upcoming events.

Our first event of this academic year is our Crofton DandeLIONs Welcome Meeting which will be held in M6 next Thursday 11 September 1510 – 1600. We will be voting for our KS3 and KS4 Ambassadors and catching up after the summer holidays. It would be lovely to meet our new Service Students so let me know if they would like to attend.
