Crofton Act of Remembrance

At Crofton we always join the national Act of Remembrance on 11 November at 11 a.m., to honour the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from the UK and the Commonwealth who defended democratic freedoms and ways of life. There will be 2 minute silence observed by everyone in the school, and a parade prior to this in the quad.

Any student who is part of a uniformed organisation is welcome to wear their uniform in school on Tuesday 11 November, and also join the parade if they wish to. This could be a uniform from an armed forces cadet unit or other uniformed organisations such a scouts or guides. If you would like to join the parade, please contact the students mentioned on the student bulletin, so they can organise this.
