Certificate Evening

Dear Year 11 Leavers, Parents and Carers

I am sorry to say that due to current restrictions, we will be unable to hold our Certificate Evening as planned on 23 November 2020. Hampshire County Council guidelines currently prevent us from holding large school events, and sadly there is no prospect now of this changing in time for this event.

Students/parents/carers will need to collect their certificates from school as Exam Board regulations prevent us from posting them. Certificates can be collected from Reception between 9.30am and 2.00pm after 30 November 2020. Please bring a form of identification as we can only give certificates to the students, siblings or their parents/carers.

We are considering holding a virtual event in place of the traditional Certificate Evening, which would comprise of a video version covering the award of subject prizes, and other awards still to present. We will be very happy to do this if there is sufficient interest, so if you would like us to create this, please click on the link below to let us know. Should there be enough interest, we will get back in touch with further details.

Students will also be able to collect their Art coursework. The coursework will only be kept until 18 December 2020. Please email Ms Harris to arrange a date and time.

We are also liaising with the Year Book committee regarding arrangements for collection of Year Books. They will confirm details to you directly, if you have ordered, as this has been done independently of the school. However, we hope to make them available from school Reception for collection.

I am sorry that we will not be able to meet in person but we do wish you well, and hope you are enjoying your next steps.

Take care.
