Book Club - Vote for our Next Read
Updated: Oct 6
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are delighted to introduce the Crofton Community Book Club — an informal, friendly and low-pressure book club for the adult members of our Crofton School community.
The book club is an opportunity for parents, carers, adult family members of students at Crofton School to come together, enjoy a good book and have a relaxed chat about what we have been reading.
There is no pressure to be an expert reader, finish the book or have all the answers! The aim is simply to create a welcoming space where adults in our school community can meet, share ideas and enjoy talking about books.
Each time we meet, we will discuss the latest book we have chosen, including our thoughts, favourite parts, characters, themes and anything else the book inspires us to talk about. Whether you love reading, are getting back into reading, or simply fancy meeting other members of the Crofton community, you would be very welcome.
The Crofton Community Book Club is:
• Informal and relaxed
• Low-pressure and friendly
• A chance to meet other members of our school community
• An opportunity to discover and discuss different books
• Open to all adult members of the Crofton community
You do not need to be a regular reader to join us — just bring yourself and, if you can, the book!
