Activity Day 2026

Dear Parents/ Carers

We are looking forward to our annual Activity Day on Friday 17 July and are excited to provide a fun-filled day for all of our students. To help the day run as smoothly as possible, please note the following information.

Students should arrive at school at the usual time and go straight to their tutor room for morning registration at 8:45am. Year group activities will begin at 8:50am.

Throughout the morning, all students will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, including:

• Laser tag

• Funfair ride

• Inflatables

• Silent disco

• Year group bench ball

• Indoor activities organised by each tutor team

From 1:15pm, all students will out for lunch and will be able to revisit these activities, as well as enjoy additional afternoon activities such as:

• Karaoke

• Art workshops

• Bead bracelet and craft activities

• Garden games

• And much more!

Activity Day itself is free of charge. However, students are welcome to bring some spending money if they would like to purchase food or treats from our visiting vendors.

This year we are pleased to welcome:

• Dan's Delights Ice Cream

• Flame N Pizza

• Stubbington Fish & Chip Van

• Burger Van

All of our food vendors, as well as the tuck shop, will accept both cash and card payments. If your child is bringing a bank card, please ensure it is a physical card rather than a card linked to a mobile phone. As our usual mobile phone policy remains in place throughout the day, students will not be permitted to use their phones to make payments.

Our school canteen will also be open as usual at break time and for part of the lunch period for those who wish to use it. In addition, there will be a tuck shop selling sweets and drinks, as well as a glow stick stall next to the silent disco.

We ask that all students wear their Crofton PE kit on the day and bring a refillable water bottle. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to refill water bottles, and we will provide shaded areas for students to use. If the weather is warm, we also recommend that sun cream is applied before students arrive at school.

All activities are scheduled to finish at 3:00pm, after which we will begin dismissing students slightly earlier than usual to support a smooth and safe exit from the site.

All students will have information and timings of the day shared with them in their tutor sessions this week.

We hope Activity Day will be a fun, rewarding celebration of all the hard work, resilience and positive contributions our students have shown throughout the year. We are looking forward to a fantastic day and hope all of our students enjoy the wide range of activities on offer.
