We are getting excited for our third Crofton Activity Day on 18th July. We ask for students to come into school at usual time for this day.
The day itself will comprise of four morning activities;
• Year team challenges – indoor
• Year team challenges – outdoor
• Silent Disco
• Funfair, indoor laser tag and Inflatables
The afternoon session will run from 12:30pm and then pupils will be able to access all activities around the site.
We are lucky enough to have:
Silent Disco
Funfair and Inflatables
Indoor laser tag
Student bands
A photo booth
Stubbington Fish & Chips van
Chirpy Chicken food van
Dan’s Delight’s ice cream van
Sweets and drinks stall
Chill out zone
Small group workshops
The activities will all finish at 2:50pm where pupils will be escorted back to tutor bases to collect any belongings and we will look to dismiss pupils at the slightly earlier time of 3pm.
Pupils will be required to wear Crofton PE kit for the day. Any student in incorrect kit will be sent home. Please refer to the school website for clarification.
We are really pleased to offer this day to pupils at no cost. However, if pupils would like to purchase food from either of the vendors or sweets and drinks from our stall then they will need to bring in money. (We will only be accepting cash for our sweets and drinks stall in T2.) The vendors, sweets and drinks will all be available from 12:30pm onwards. Please could students bring money in small amounts/change if possible. Cards will be accepted by vendors but cash is preferable.
Please can you ensure your child comes in with a refillable water bottle so they can access water stations during the day.
The canteen will open as usual at break and lunch time, or students may bring their own packed lunch.
We are hoping that this day will be a success. However, we do expect pupils to remain safe and listen to guidance with regards to the activities. If for any reason a pupil does not follow staff instructions and poses a risk to themselves or others they will be removed from the activities. Their Head of Year will meet them and follow up as necessary.
We want to ensure all pupils have a brilliant day rewarding them for their work and efforts this year and anticipate it being as successful as previous years.
Yours Faithfully
Miss K Young
Head of Year
