Ski Trip 2024 - Day Three: Icy Good Progress

We woke up on day three with a feeling of anticipation and confidence as we approached our second day of skiing.

The weather was much more favourable and the  conditions were far better for our beginner skiers. Our two advanced ski groups ventured away from the main group for the first time, whilst the remaining groups worked really hard on building up their core skills to access the main slope.

We saw so much progress in such a short space of time from so many of the students, it created a really positive atmosphere amongst all the groups. Everywhere you looked you could see smiles from ear to ear, even taking a tumble couldn’t dent the sense of pride we all felt.

A break for lunch provided an opportunity to take off our skis and refuel for our afternoon session. Again, so many students made noticeable progress and we ended the day with all six groups on our main slope, carving their way down and attempting the slalom race.

As we ended our day of skiing the snow started to fall and we had some well earned rest time back at the hotel before room inspections and dinner. This was followed by a quiz as our evening activity - hosted by Mr West.

Overall a day full of positive energy and progress. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings and the opportunities of a new slope!

Good night!
