Home Testing > Self Test (rapid antigen test)

TESTING STUDENTS AT HOME

Crofton will be providing your child with Home Testing Kits. We would like them to take their tests EVERY SUNDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENINGS.

You will only need to tell the school the result of a POSITIVE test. You need to report all test results to the NHS Track and Test system and details of how to do this are covered in the booklet accompanying the kits.

Tests are free of charge. Students will receive 2 packs of 3 tests in a box with a leaflet on how to take the test and report the results. These will be replenished at suitable intervals through the term.

How to do a COVID-19 Self Test (rapid antigen test)

Dr Amir Khan shows you how to test yourself for coronavirus (COVID-19) using a self-test rapid antigen test kit, as well as how to read your result and report it to the NHS.

Actual test kits may vary slightly from the version used here, so please always check the instruction leaflet in your kit.
