Dear Year 11
SUPPORTING APPLICANTS – NEWS FROM ST VINCENT COLLEGE In these challenging times we want to reassure you we are very much here to support you, whether you are an existing applicant or someone considering making an application to us. Below is some information which we hope you find useful. Additionally, our School & Business Coordinator Lynsey, who we know many of you have already met, is just a phone call or email away to answer any questions you may have. Her contact details are below.
New Applications – September 2020 We are still very much accepting applications! The simple and easy way to apply is to go onto our website www.stvincent.ac.uk where you can apply online. Once you have made your application you will be contacted via telephone/email so that we can arrange a telephone guidance interview. Please note that the number we call applicants from will be withheld, so we advise applicants to answer the call. The interview will be with one of our Transition & Progression Team members, or a member of the teaching staff. Parents and carers are welcome to join the phone interview if applicants wish.
Existing Applicants - September 2020 If you have already had a guidance interview but have not yet accepted your place, a member of our team will also contact you to discuss whether or not you would like to accept your place at St Vincent College or if you need further information and advice. Applicants already interviewed who have accepted a place, please rest assured that your place is secure with us and no further contact will be needed for the time being. Please continue to follow us on social media and via our website. At Enrolment in late August, there will be another opportunity for all applicants to have further information, advice and guidance to confirm your course choices and programme. If you have any questions or queries regarding an application please don’t hesitate to contact our School and Business Liaison Coordinator Lynsey, on 023 9260 3616 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Need some careers advice? Deciding on what to study or maybe reviewing your course choices/next steps can open up some questions and we can help. Our award winning careers team are on hand to answer any questions and offer impartial advice and guidanceto all our applicants. Contact our Careers Leader, Alistair Lambon Transition & Progression Manager at email@example.com who can offer an individual telephone careers interview.
Although at present the college site is closed we are very much open to hear from you or your parent/carer on any aspect of studying with us in September. We would like to wish you well as you continue your Year 11 studies at home.
Yours faithfully, Andy Grant Head of College
