Crofton School has a proud tradition of supporting the annual act of Remembrance.
Every year the school observes a two minute silence which is impeccably observed by staff and students. This year we will be doing this on Friday 10th November at 11am, as the national act of remembrance falls on a Saturday.
Students involved in uniformed services can attend school in service uniform on this day. They will take part in a ceremony around this on the Quad. It is a chance for us all collectively to show our appreciation for serving and ex-serving personnel, and to reflect on the impact of conflict.
We also have been selling poppies all week, so if your child would like to buy one, please send them in with their donation.
