Virtual Careers Fair

Wednesday 14 Oct 2020, 1.00pm – 4.00pm

During Maritime UK Week Maritime UK will be hosting their first ever maritime virtual careers fair for young people and adult job seekers. This will be an online event and will give attendees the opportunity to learn about maritime careers directly from employers. Representatives from industries across the sector including the Merchant Navy, ship builders, naval architecture, engineering, defence, maritime business services, advanced technologies, leisure, renewable energy, ports and harbours, working boats and more will be participating.

'Maritime in the 21st Century' at Maritime Museums

Monday 12 Oct 2020 to Friday 16 Oct 2020

Saturday 17 Oct 2020 to Sunday 18 October 2020

As part of Maritime UK Week, Maritime UK are working with maritime museums and historic sites across the UK to develop special exhibitions celebrating the UK's contemporary maritime sector and to encourage schools and the general public to visit and learn more. Dedicated museum activity is taking place throughout the week, including the weekend of 17 and 18 October.
