Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance 10p Challenge

Seven Year 9 Crofton students had the privilege of visiting Hampshire & IOW Air Ambulance and completing the LEAP workshop run by EBP South. The students learnt many things but here are just a few:

What they do

Through your support, we bring an advanced critical care team to people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most.

  • It currently costs £15,000 a day to maintain our life saving service.

  • We fly day and night, 7am - 2am, 365 days of the year.

  • 100% of flights have a Critical Care Team on board.

  • It takes us 15 minutes to reach anywhere in Hampshire.

  • Or 20 minutes to reach anywhere on the Isle of Wight.

  • We rely entirely on donations from the public.

They need our help

The paramedics need our help to raise £20,000 to fund new flight suits. If every student in the south saved up their 10 pence pieces, we could fund 30 new flight suits for our Specialist Critical Care Paramedics.

A new flight suit costs approximately £650, the £20,000 target will fund thirty new flight suits, or two suits for every paramedic.

Please help us to raise money by collecting 10 pence pieces to help the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Collection pots will be in Reception and Finance. Year 9 students will also be visiting tutors and Year Assemblies.

Thank you for your Support.
