CROFTON LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Crofton Leadership Award is a great way of students being recognised for joining in with lots of activities in school, both in and out of class. Students can start in Year 7 and may aim for copper and bronze awards, leading up to Year 11 when students may be able to apply for their gold and platinum awards. As students work their way through the awards, they are increasingly recognised for their outstanding leadership skills and contribution to school life. It is recommended that students take their awards to college interviews when they are in Year 11 to demonstrate their wide range of experiences in and out of the classroom.

For each level of the award, students will need to demonstrate that they have achieved something in four out of the five columns from the leadership award poster. There are many activities and events that students may be involved in (including those not documented on the poster) which can be submitted in the appropriate columns. If unsure, students can ask Miss Jeffery for guidance.

Application forms can be found on the school website and paper copies are next to the house token tubes in the LRC. Completed applications should be posted in the house post box in the LRC.
